MOUNTING yard expert Warren Huntly has identified two horses to follow from Saturday’s meeting at Moonee Valley.
Zara Bay paraded as the quality mare in her race and in typical Team Hawkes fashion will derive benefit from her eye catching first up run over 1000m. She had trialled nicely in Sydney leading into Saturday’s run and should be something to bet on over 1100-1200m second up.
Killarney Kid is getting fitter and continues to parade well. Darren Weir has been keeping him to 1600m at recent runs and with those runs under his belt he should be ready to win in the 2000m distance race shortly.
